I would recommend giving revolt (most discord like) or Matrix a shot. They both offer desktop and mobile clients without a phone number. You can also self host them (Matrix is better for self hosting since its federated with other instances)

I am glad I switched to Librewolf before this happened. I think I will now switch to chromite on my phone though.

Alright, I'm gonna say it.
Ubuntu is underrated.
I hadn't used it in years but I was testing something and... it was like really really stable. And well supported... and that's literately all I need out of an OS.
So I switched back to Ubuntu. Don't @ me, I know there are way more fun distros ...

Any scams like the "click here for 10k from mr beast" ads I would see almost all the time on Youtube on mobile before I got revanced.
And ads that just dont explain the product just show flashy graphics and what not.
