Are there people who make/rewrite their own?


The vast majority of discs in circulation are read-write discs, so I'd say that most discs are one's written by individuals! Honestly the read-only discs are so stupid rare I might never collect one. There's a Jamiroquai album thats like $300 on ...

Minidisc is a pretty popular physical in the Vaporwave community, to which I have a fairly decent collection of, Here's some pics.

For those who don't know, Minidisc is a Magneto-optical disc technology made by Sony in the later era of the format wars, and one of the only non-CD survivors. Minidisc production officially ended in 2013 unfortunately but there's enough in circulation for everyone!
