Re: Circumventing MS account requirement

Always use Rufus when creating bootable Windows 11 Install USB's.

In my case, I always install Windows 11 Pro, and It allows you to:
- Disable some data collection services
- Remove the requirement for a Microsoft account
- Remove TPM requirement
- Disable BitLocker device encryption
- Remove the ...

Re: Nintendo Switch 2

To be honest it's been a while since I've actively played videogames in a regular manner, and by that I mean that I probably play once or twice every couple of weeks, so my perception of this launch might be off.

Handheld consoles aren't "portable" anymore. I get it, everyone has a smartphone ...

Re: Dumb-ifying TVs?

I think it's Sony's Bravia lineup that you can dumbify during initial setup. It needs to be a Google TV compatible model.

As far as I know, if you reject license agreements, at some point, the setup is going to ask you if you want to setup your TV as a "Basic TV", disabling all smart features. The ...

Re: Physical Media

I'd say DVDs and 1080p Blu-Rays. I've already setup my old PS3 to be my preferred way to consume physical movies. As far as I know, the upscaler on the PS3 is pretty good and can make DVD's look quite good (considering how cheap they are).

Re: One week using Linux

I started learning Linux back in 2015 at trade school. We used (back in the day), Ubuntu, Lubuntu and Debian.
I've been using Debian on my laptop for a while now. I love this distro. I love how lightweight it is, and I've had a way less buggy experience compared to Ubuntu. I use it to code Symfony ...

Re: My website

I love the PCB Editor! I've been tinkering around and ordering my own PCBs for a while now, and I find your editor genuinely useful. Fix a couple of bugs and add a couple more components to the list, and you've got a recurring user right here.
PD: Momo is very cute indeed!

The internet has changed. How I've disconnected and my concerns.

I wanted to post this as an answer to CitricScion 's post , but It came out a little bit long. So here's my approach on how my internet usage changed, how I've disconnected, my concerns, and what I feel the future of the internet might be.

Mine is an interesting story. I've been into IT since I was ...

I'll never understand how anyone thought that attaching their full name to their DNA sequence on a random privately owned database was a good idea.
