The resistance lives

Post by Pearlple »

I would imagine that just like most people out there YOU also don't like MS Copilot!?

Neither does the underground resistance of sensible people who have infiltrated Microsoft and are rolling out some updates to fix the mess that MS has made of their products.
Or it might just be a bug, but in any case, the March update for Windows (KB5053598 for Windows 11 24H2 and KB5053606 for Windows 10 22H2) uninstalls the Copilot app.

First nobody used Cortana, now nobody likes Copilot; hopefully they remove it from Windows 12 if that ever becomes a thing. And cool little update as well, now Windows users can try to experience life with just a little less spying on Microsoft's end

If anything, I think it's also a reminder of the fact that they don't want you to own or be able to modify your own stuff. How can an update uninstall an app on your computer like this ? That's wild.

For me, the combo Linux Mint + Debloated Windows 10 is wonderful. It's incredible how much faster windows becomes without all of its bloat.
