Review of my MUSRUN mp3 player

Post by Rocatex »

I've been using an mp3 player called a MUSRUN for the past ~6 years now, and I do recommend it if (like me) you often drop or bend your plastic-shelled mp3 player. The best feature I can point out about it is the metal shell. I'm a dropper, I accidentally kick my phone around and things get knocked off my desk all the time. I recommend this mp3 player if you like going on runs or bikes or hikes or anything of the sort. But I'm also biased towards what I've been using for the past few years. The backlight is super weak, so you have to squint when outdoors to see the screen, and I recently looked into the parent company and its the single most untrustworthy corporation I've seen in a bit. the website is made in wordpress because they didn't delete some of the default text from their website. Thankfully, it's not connected to the internet at all, and you can fuck with the files all you want in a file explorer.

So it's kinda like a very durable flashdrive that also happens to have a 3.5mm port. 8/10 from me on my longtime mp3 player because it doesn't like pngs and has a very weak backlight.

How repairable is the device? Can you at least replace the battery?
