I'm an environmental chemist who specializes in biodegradable materials and both human and environmental toxicology. There are a lot of complex articles about chemistry out there, and even more fear mongering headlines about the supposed hazardous chemicals hiding behind every corner. I wanted to help cut through that noise by offering information about chemistry and the environment in plain English, along with offering myself as a direct point of contact between the scientific community and everyone else. I also talk about some of my other interests, like fictional movie materials and jazz.
