I described this exquisite ocmmentary to a friend, without hyperbole, as the perfect video. (It has even got fumo!) Many of us here surely love and depend upon the Internet Archive as much as Mr McGee, who captures why it has become my regular haunt, just as I spent so much of my free time at school haunting its library when I was younger. In this and some of his other speeches, of which I have hitherto heard those on LLM (‘AI’) and gambling, he goes beyond merely informing, but relates topics in clever, unobvious ways: that ‘web apps’ have come to dominate as they are a complicated form of DRM in this film, or that LLM are really of interest to Silicon Valley for their value in such fields as processing insurance claims in that respective film.
