Very much inspired by @CitricScion 's post about Ed Zitron's newsletter, I wanted to share this with you: Pluralistic
Cory Doctorow is the author who coined the term "Enshittification"; his book about it is releasing this October. I have mentioned him or linked his writing as a source in posts before, but it hadn't occured to me to just share the blog itself.
He is a very active public speaker and member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. In his blog he writes about various matters related to how technology is used in society. Recently this is mostly matters of AI (mostly in the workplace and in government and it's impact on individuals), privacy in the age of omnipresent surveillance, antitrust, worker's rights and enshittification (and "twiddling") in general.
It's not all bleak, almost always he points out ways how people (together) can solve such issues and from time to time there is a linkdump with good news or just some cool open source hardware and FOSS projects.
