Re: Apple Takes the UK Government To Court
I hear about that a while ago. Every place trying to do that really, the UK is not the only place.
The EU attempted to pass the Chat Control Act and almost succeeded, luckily it didn't. Which would have required Companies like Apple and Google to add a State Trojan into your Phone to scan for ...

Re: Privacy Policy worst practices
Yikes, I can certainly imagine why you see it the way you do. I've never seen a privacy policy upload screenshots of the collected information data before, I can imagine it does wonders deterring people who don't want to read the policy cover-to-cover because of impatience or simply lack of time.

Another videogame webpage
Some time last year I stumbled across the r/badUIbattles subreddit, where people posted their take on the worst UI possible, as implied by the name. One such submission was a webpage called Unsubscribe - The Game, with the objective being to unsubscribe from some service. As you can probably imagine ...

Favourite quirky "feature" in a book?
I've read many books throughout the course of my (nearly quarter-length) life, and while most of them are simply printed in an ordinary, standard manner, there have been a few I've picked up that used something I'd never really seen in a book before in terms of layout and structure. I could give the ...

Re: Playdate and other Dedicated Portables
I myself have never seen a Playdate in real life before, let alone picked one up or played with it. It really looks quite fun, especially with the addition of that little crank, but I feel like I'll have a tough time convincing myself to get one since I already have 4 handhelds (GBA SP, DSi, N3DSXL ...

Re: What phone are you using?
I use a Samsung Galaxy A51, used to be my dad's before my younger brother lost it... and then found it again after my dad had bought a brand new phone. I'm overall pretty good with screentime I think, on average I spend an hour and a half on it a day, with most of the activity being just from ...

Re: Books you read
I know the topic of the original post is "books you read recently" and I could talk about Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness since I have indeed been reading that one recently, but I haven't finished it yet so I can't really give a proper judgement of it. So far it's quite interesting, and yet very ...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hiya chaps, I found the link to this forum (which I'm very happy I found, actually) after watching Anthony's most recent video, and... yeah.
I go by December online (gotta love fictional characters specifically made to take on as a fake identity on the Internet), I'm a Catholic English-Italian and ...
