Re: Artfight, anybody?

I have seen this around, what is it? Every time I click the Link I get sent to a Login.

It's just because you need to log in to see people's profiles, for some reason. There's an About page here, it should explain how it works and I don't THINK it asks you to log in? https://artfight.net/info ...

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 (and friends)

Me and my partner really like shooter games, just cause they're fun to play when done well. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about them, and remembering one of my childhood favorites I really miss playing, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. It's such a special game that, for all its flaws, has a ...

Re: I blog about nerd stuff

Omg it's really cool to hear that, I love Bean lol. I would love to see it return at some point, but since I'm a game developer I've also been considering making some sort of spiritual successor to it as a future project in case it doesn't. Glad you like the blog too! :D

Duuuuude a spiritual ...

Re: I blog about nerd stuff

Seeing Bean Dreams again is amazing. I ALSO played that game when I was super young, and the side of me that loves bouncy, colorful worlds just fell in love. Probably the most fun I'd ever had with a mobile game, really bringing a whole layer of dimensions with its simplistic controls. I tried to ...

Re: controllers

One of my favorite gifts I ever got was a controller! It's a big pink Switch pro controller that's cat themed! It's pink and white with little ears, and a face and whiskers on the front, and even has these little claws on those bottom handles. The ears light up when you turn it on and it's adorable ...

Re: Everythig Glitch Productions pushes out

Being totally honest, I'm not always huge on most of Glitch Productions' stuff, but I don't care much because the studio is suuuuper important to indie animation as a whole. It's really, really nice to see something like them, dedicated to bringing artists' visions to life and all. I don't think I ...

Re: Anyone here into Kenshi?

I haven't heard of this game before but looking it up it really intrigues me. Seems like it takes after those kinds of immersive sim titles. I'm actually really interested in this, I think I'm gonna have to check it out... I love how dirty it looks, haha

Some silly creature designs

Been having a game idea in the works recently, and I've been mapping it out before I actually start. It's about inanimate object-based creatures, themed around collecting them and such. Here's three I like, named Carghost, Aeghiss, and Tyrantula (that name's my favorite). Carghost.png Aeghiss.png ...

Game development on simple programs

For around three years (2021-2024) I made games on Scratch, and honestly, it was a lot of fun. I think Scratch is a great example of a website/program that's super easy to learn, even without guidance, while still being super flexible, especially when you open up the possibilities of modifications ...
