I've been running on Ubuntu LTS for a few months now and I can't see myself going back. I do have a dual boot setup for the few games that just simply work better on Windows but the more time goes on the less I find myself booting to that drive.
It is definitely not perfect though and I do find myself running into crashes from time to time. I'd love to learn about Arch on a dedicated device like a laptop, but I couldn't see myself daily driving it anytime soon.

Debloat Windows 11 -> REALLY debloat Windows 11 -> Dual boot Linux Mint/Ubuntu & debloated Windows 11 -> Run only a distro like Linux Mint -> Arch btw -> waiting for Chromium to compile for a week (Gentoo) -> OpenBSD -> TempleOS
Because god is our Lord and Saviour and there is only one true OS /j

getting used to arch on a laptop is the way to go! I used manjaro for a while when I first started because arch intimidated me, but manjaro was pretty lackluster. Sitting down and going through all the steps to actually install arch was pretty cool and I have not switched since (although I have swapped my desktop manager quite a few times)SapphireFire wrote: Sun May 11, 2025 5:27 pm I've been running on Ubuntu LTS for a few months now and I can't see myself going back.
