I'm super conflicted about the Switch 2, and it seems like a lot of people are. I think we all see the two biggest pros and cons, to some capacity, right? On one hand, it looks like the next generation of Nintendo titles are going to be absolutely stellar. Brimming with personality and inventive design the likes of which we may not have seen since GALAXY, and yet... 450 dollars for a console with 70-80 dollar games. I really cannot afford to miss out on this generation of games, but I also can't afford to not miss out on it too. It's a real twist, especially for people like me who don't make that kind of money to just up and dispense for something like that. What if it breaks? I'll just be stuck forking over another 400 dollars for a new one? But... If I don't, I will never get to see Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, and both of them look downright magical. It doesn't seem like they're backing down from the price either, so things are going to be difficult for a while. Here's hopes for some kind of miracle. I'm extremely divided on it, and I don't even want anything else right now. Tough.

I know this is probably an unpopular take, but the reason I don't want one is that it's too big. I normally use the Switch in handheld mode, and it's the perfect size for me. I really wish they'd put Wind Waker on the Switch 1 or even Switch OLED, I'd love to experience that game again, but I'm not willing to sacrifice the size of the console for that. There's other stuff mentioned here that I agree with, but if I'm being honest, the actual thing holding me back is the physical size.
