Once I saw this post by Mr. Convenience https://bsky.app/profile/rejectconvenie ... 3rdejay22r I knew exactly what I had to do, it was meant to be a quick sketch that I was going to do yesterday afternoon to then create the account here and post it (since I don't have a bluesky account to reply to the post in question), but after a couple of hours and and almost forgeting to sleep, then today deciding to color it in, here it is:
I'm not particularly good at drawing yet but I'm very happy with the result, I quickly traced over the general shape from a freeze frame from Nichijou's Helvetica Standard skit "1 Million Yen" to save time figuring out proportions and prespective (again this was supposed to be a quick sketch), and used a bunch of reference pictures from Bocchi The Rock! (Both anime and Manga) to try and get Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita to look recognizable.

Hahaha get lock in and forgetting sleep is so relateable when it comes to drawing.

I noticed it's a referece from Nichijou(?) but yea you draw the character from Bochi the rock. Hope he see this!

Really love the whole band, the 4 girls are so different yet they all fit together so well! Have not been able to get vol. 6 yet since it isn't available on my local book stores and I refuse to buy from Amazon, but when I do get my hands on it I will probably read the whole thing in one sitting.
