Q's Internet Trinkets :)

Hey all,

Figured I'd make a little thread to promote my massive list of Stuff I've collected, but I'd also like your help with pulling it away from where it's hosted. ;w;

My site, Q's Internet Trinkets, is full of 280 links of useful sites and tools and games
that I like/make use of/recommend to others, as well as suggestions/things I've found from friends and family. Where one data-hungry utility exists, there's probably something on this site that could replace it, so as to get away from the hellscape that is our increasingly monopolised internet. I try to make sure most of the links are free to access, cause if you're already paying for internet every month I don't think you should be forking out more money just to be making it liveable for yourself.
In short, we deserve better as netizens, and people are out there making things that prove just that (like what Anthony is doing with the channel and this forum). :D

Now here's the part where I need some help.
The whole thing is hosted on Notion. I'm planning to sit down and take the time to evaluate its privacy policy soon, but with its AI being a baked in thing on the site (it's not even useful for building the site for me, not unless I give them money) I am less and less inclined to keep the site there forever. My HTML experience is rusty at best, let alone anything like CSS, hence why I went there in the first place... but do you reckon moving everything to a NeoCities page is the best option?

My alternative (albiet lazy) idea was to rebuild the site from the ground up on StrawPage with a new email, but I don't want to do that either. The whole site on Notion is essentially a database with a hat on, with Notion taking everything from the stuff in the database and outputting it into those little boxes you see on the page. I really don't want to have to redo my entire database that I've been working on for *checks watch* six months...

What do I do here? And on that note, any suggestions for new links to add?
I was planning to scoop up a few links from the Cool Websites subforum but I feel weird doing that. I'm instead going to mark this forum as a "Site Like This" where people can go look at the subforum if they feel inclined. ;)

Thats a Really cool Project, have to dive deeper to explore all the Links. But I have already seen some cool ones :D

As it looks Notion offers an Export to HTML, it most likely won't be styled nicely, but can be a good starting Point to convert your Project to a Website.
Another Option is Exporting it to Markdown and CSV, to have it in a way where you can somewhat easily reorganize and in the Future use an SSG (Static Site Generators) to get a basic site rendered from the Files.

On the Hosting Side I can't tell you much, the only thing I can recommend you is to stay with a Standard Format like HTML, Markdown etc. So you can easily get up and move it to a new Platform. And don't get Vendor Locked in
