Cool blogs w/ RSS feeds

Hello! I accidentally deleted all of my RSS feeds, so I'm looking to get some interesting blogs with them in. I WAS able to remember a few, which I thought I'd share here as well!

Cabel.com • Cabel Sasser, Panic Inc.'s CEO talking about various things that interest him like ranking snacks, Nintendo catalogs, and a forged Apple employee card he saw on Ebay. His writing is really fun and beyond just his blog he honestly seems like a very jolly fellow.

Ribo.zone • A marine biologist's insanely cool personal site, and blog about the web, nature, and whatever else

Melon's Thoughts • Melon thinks about all sorts of things, especially around the indieweb and other happenings

Axolotl Thoughts • Not at all biased, but, I think my blog is pretty neat. I talk about tech stuff mostly, but also sometimes not

Ooh I love this idea! I'll share some of mine as well.

https://www.bastionland.com/?m=1
Chris McDowall's, (creator of the mythic and electric bastionland TTRPGs and others), personal blog.

https://www.cptkrb.net/
Coming from the cptkrb yt channel where she talks about tech stuff (her DNS video was super good). The feed itself is a bit stale but I hope she starts using it more.

https://xkcd.com/
El classico, but in RSS feed form! Who knew?

https://drewdevault.com/
Creator of sourcehut, talks about a lot of neat open source stuff.

https://xeiaso.net/blog/
Creator of the anubis open source project to protect websites from inhumane AI webscraping. Talks about open source software as well as just tech stuff.

The 'ol shameless plug; I do a lot of everything, game design, FOSS, programming, operating systems, and music among other stuff :3

Some blogs/rss feeds I like that haven't been mentioned yet! I use my RSS reader super heavily in order to replace social media sites for the most part, so there's a lot more than this but I'm restricting myself specifically to blogs!
Also!! Thank you guys for the recommendations! I'm always happy to find new things to read!!

The History of the Web — A bit similar to From The Superhighway, a blog dedicated to writing about web history

Two Bit History — And another one!

Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung — Only interesting if you speak German, but this is a government institution providing historical context and other resources for contextualizing political events. Obviously to be taken with a grain of salt, like any resource on political stuff is, but still really interesting! They offer a bunch of different feeds depending on what you want.

Amnesty International — Human rights org. that posts about, you guessed it, human rights.

Electronic Frontier Foundation — You probably know this one, super informative stuff on current internet (especially privacy) legislation!

I also highly encourage adding Youtube Channels or tumblr blogs/subreddits/bsky/mastodon accounts to not get caught in the infinite scroll! Other than that I use it to follow my friends' goodreads activity, manga releases, website feeds, a longform journalism group and — of course — this and other forums! I'm excited to hear more suggestions!
