Ok, so the obvious answer is a few weeks back, all the political adds.. but besides those.
There is this one non-alcoholic beer that keeps getting advertised on my Spotify podcasts (I listen while cleaning).
I am completely fine with Adds it makes freemium services free, that's not my problem.
my problem is that this add is the most annoying add and it makes me anxious.
I do not know why, but it has to do with the social interaction in the add.
It boils down to person A getting interrupted by person B like 4 times in the period of 15 seconds.
I do not get anxious when someone gets interrupted in person in front of me or me for that matter. (although it is annoying)
and I am not a anxious person in general.
but with this add i get so like anxious (its not quite the same thing as anxious) i get really close to breaking out in hives.
it is just about the most bazar reaction, nothing else I have experienced has resulted in this type of reaction.
anyhow I could not get the audio for the add, but here is a 15 second clip made with some of the same recoding, but the girl only gets interrupted once.
The actual add it happens 4 times.
What is your least favorite advertisement?

Any gambling ad - it's just a slimy industry... But I don't see many ads these days, I hate lookin' at them, so I block them all. It's weird going the movies once every few months and seeing ads on the screen. It's so jarring.
Re: What is your least favorite advertisement?
I think my biggest ick has been with the rise of AI, there's so many more fraudulent and scammy ads popping up, especially on YouTube.
One massive gripe I have with them, other than them literally being 100% AI and pretty gross inherently, is that a lot of them are NSFW or suggestive in nature, like for inappropriate AI chatbots and AI games that show up even on accounts that minors may have access to. (in a related note, I've done a little investigative journalism regarding it and accidentally stumbled on what I believe is a gigantic advertising scam utilizing AI generated images and several fraudulent companies across the globe)
Anyway, the ads are incredibly awful and reporting them doesn't do anything apparently. Leaves the absolute WORST taste in my mouth.

The mildly NSFW ads on YouTube. A lot of people say "They're showing you ads based on your searches".
#1. They should not be doing that, thats pretty shitty.
#2. I got a brand new phone, not synced to any account and with a new YouTube account.
Youtube's ads are completely out of hand, and very hypocritical of their TOS

Be safe on the internet, and use an ad/tracker blocker
