I've been using Carrd.co to build this site, theres some restrictions to that but I get very tired learning html from scratch, perhaps in the future, but carrd is also very affordable when it comes to having a domain attached compared to other website creators so i can deal with that!

Im still very locked into having social media because of where i get my clients for illustration work and commissions, but atleast I only spend my time there ''for work'' and am detached to engaging in anything else.

Awesome tool and awesome art!

I have a basic blog on Bear Blog that works with markdown and that's about it. Not for everyone, but for someone who just wanted a simple place to host long posts, it works a charm.
