Hi, I'm Destroyanad and I'm currently 20yrs old. I've lived in the southern United States for the majority of my life, with the exception of a brief visit to Hawaii when i was around 5yrs old. I've traveled between Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Hawaii and Louisiana. I have 2 bold little Cats, one being Siamese, and the other (In my Profile Picture) being a Tabby.

I've played tons of flash games as a child, but I've never had much experience with forums, so please excuse me if i do things wrong, or if i don't follow proper forum-etiquette. I've got way too many hobbies to deal with haha; Ranging from Game Development to woodcraft. I'm going to college sometime during the fall, i plan on going for a 4 year degree minimum (shooting for an 8 year) in Computer Science.

I'm an Indie Video-Game Developer, 2D artist and 3D artist. I know how to program in Lua, C# and GDScript with their respective game engines being Roblox Studio (Retired), Unity and Godot. Around 6 months ago I made the jump to Linux out of sheer curiosity, and i've not looked back at Windows since; I'm currently using Ubuntu.

Anyways, that's enough about me, I can't wait to get to know the community!

Hi, I'm Malice.

I'm an art student and my hobbies include drawing, listening to music, collecting physical media, and indie web/making websites. I'm currently learning how to play guitar (I've had one for years, I just don't play it as much as I want to...) and I might try my hand at javascript eventually. My favorite band is Evanescence! I even have a website dedicated to archiving Evanescence web graphics, interviews, and fan sites.

I'm currently getting out of a near decade-long social media addiction of sorts. I've pretty much deleted all of my accounts aside from YouTube and Discord and I've been getting a bit better at keeping them off of my phone. I recently got an iPod so I can remove another need to use my phone. I've noticed that my computer has basically replaced my phone in terms of screen use, though, and I want to change that. If anyone has any advice on spending less time on it, I would appreciate it.

In a perfect world, I'd absolutely go through with the dumbphone route, but there are some things I need to use my smartphone for, so I've just been keeping the minimum amount of apps I need on there and finding replacements for other apps (I was so happy when I found out my iPod has an alarm clock function!).

I am a college student currently half-way through my junior year. I love photography, digital art, making Ren'Py Games (Though I'm not the best at it), playing Baritone/Euphonium, and playing simulation games. I also work as an extra in movies and TV shows a lot (including Twisters and Tulsa King which were fun as heck) and a bunch of other little things. I recently became kind of obsessed with making a neocities website and I've been pouring all of my free time into that (or watching dungeon meshi or doctor who). IDK if I can post neocities links or if thats against the guidelines so I'll err on the safe side.

I really have truckloads of hobbies, certainly too many to list here. I live in Oklahoma with my amazing boyfriend until we can graduate and get outta here. I found Reject Convenience through neocities and then realized I had watched his youtube channel before and loved it. Though I'd hop onto the forum to support him.

It's amazing to meet all ya'll and I'm excited to use the forum more!

I'm Himanshu.i'm from India and like playing video games (Yeah most of them pirated and most my simple Laptop can't run without exploding ). other than that I have just Graduated and am just chilling. CS&It was my major in college ,yet i haven't done or work on any project yet so every .

Oh i wanna actually work on making games ,but haven't figured things out on where to start ,hoping i would figure it out sooner or later.

i have never been in a Forum and got here through the How advertisers ruined a good idea" like many others.
I hope i will be able to participate here on more than just the introductions.

I am so so so excited to join a forum! For years I have been lamenting the death of forums and I’m just thrilled that there are others who feel the same way.

I’m British but have been in Canada for almost half my life at this point. I became a mom last year so I’m very tired and don’t have too much time for my hobbies right now but they include weather, doppler radar, and civil defence sirens. I like to do stuff with my hands and I knit and sew and make dumb little clay models, and I got a cool sublimation printer and heat press for christmas so I can’t wait to get stuck into that.

My goal this year is to learn gardening and start a greenhouse in my backyard.

I’m a big reader and my favorite topics over the past few years have been things about the internet, media, privacy, advertising, and commerce. But my perennial fave is Terry Pratchett.

Hey all! I'm Luecium, a 20yo computer science student from the UK. I'm in my second year of studies, though I'm taking a year out right now. Interests include: Programming, maths, anime, (modded) Minecraft.

My frustration with the internet started with the growing number of adverts, intensified with infinite-scroll shortform content, and reached its peak with the takeover of AI-generated content. I want to replace my use of Reddit (which I believe is mostly bot content these days) with traditional forums like this. I've not used traditional forums since I was a kid, so apologies if my etiquette leaves something to be desired

Hello!! I'm bubbafinches and its funny to see that it seems like im the third person from MN here!!

I've been trying to ditch my scrolling addiction for years and am finally making consistent progress with lifestyle changes like an iPod and a flip phone (the iPod has been fully customized but I'm still working on rooting the flippy)! It's hard to find like-minded folks so this forum is really cool to find. I didn't go down the IT career pipeline like some folks here but am very interested in tinkering with my own tech, had a pretty strong OSINT phase, and grew up in a very techy family

My interests include journaling, crafting, listening to music (currently loving heavier stuff like NIN and Get Scared), and I've recently started bartending. Excited to contribute and see what others have to say.
