Okay I don't know why, but I loved this movie and it's been stuck in my head. I had watched the original when I was a kid, and I haven't seen it in probably 20 years, but I remember loving that movie as a kid, and this movie gave me the exact same feeling. I loved that it wasn't a sequel, and it honored the original really well.
I'm 100% gonna buy the DVD when it's available, I loved it.
