Class Action Waviers?

I was recently going through the persona privacy policy when I noticed that there was a Class Action Waiver for US residents only and was something I hadn't seen before.

I'm curious if anyone knew anything more about this? I would like to be like, ugh look at this evil company preventing people from suing them and holding them responsible, but I don't know if there is a legitimate reason.

I could only find the wavier on the Persona Privacy Policy, the Life360 TOS, and the Microsoft services agreement without much searching.

I'm curious if you may be talking about forced arbitration, something that is common in the US, as the US is one of if not the only place with legal grounds for it.

You could be talking about something else, to which i yield a similar response, the US allows companies to waive a lot more consumer rights, so these companies like to give people the minimum amount of power
