Modern Android Music Players
I figured this is a note worth topic to talk about. I have been looking for a modern music player since ipod's are getting old and their value is ballooning out of control. However, I keep finding android players, and I am curious what you guys think about them. Personally, I hate how everything is becoming a smartphone. I just want some good old buttons.

Re: Modern Android Music Players
I decided to finally get an iPod. I paid too much for it on eBay, but oh well.

Oh wow, those are pretty pricey… And the tactile design doesn’t seem to be as, well, existent, as with older portable music players (iPod, Discman, Walkman). I’m opting for an older Android clamshell phone (T9 keyboard and shortcut buttons) to use as a dedicated music player. I’m hoping it can run the GoneMAD music player app. If not, I can always just use VLC. I’m using Dropsync to make accessible local directories to sync to my Dropbox (the Dropbox app keeps “offline-available” files in a cache folder inaccessible to other apps). Once my clamshell phone arrives from Japan, I’ll post about how it’s going.Stefen_Maxwell wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 12:59 pmLink1 Link2 Link3 Link4rejectconvenience wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 12:50 am Do you have some links to some?
